From Warseer, Siam-Tiger confirms Space Hulk is the Mystery Box:

The big mystery box is going to be space hulk, they will show a trailer at 16.00 / 4 pm, but nothing else there. The real presentation will be via gw newsletter.

He goes on:

The real "announcement" of the space hulk game will be via newsletter, that should be available this night, complete with informations etc.

It is not limited, it has about 5.000 copies and will be avaible in german.

German GD T-Shirt had a tyranid skull as a motiv, the gw workers shirt had the terminator helmet at the front.

Games Day Chicago Rumors

Hello everyone! As many of you may already know, Games Day is tomorrow and we're hoping there are some juicy rumors that will be floating around. In anticipation, we not only set up our twitter account (to the right of this page or you can follow us directly from twitter here) but we are also collaborating with the Fly Lords at Bell of Lost Souls so while we give you live updates from twitter, they will be posting them so even more of an audience will see them! Alex and I think it's pretty cool and we are very excited to bring you live rumors right from the front line. So to recap really quickly, you have three ways to get live rumors from Chicago:

1) Come back here every so often and check the twitter feed to the right hand side of the page.
2) Follow us on twitter and get email updates whenever we update the feed.
3) Head on over to mighty Bell of Lost Souls and watch as the rumors develop (from us and I'm sure from other sources as well)!

Twitter updates

Yes... I gave in to the new hot trend and got a Twitter account. I feel so....conformist.
Anyways, this actually has everything to do with 40k as I will be using it throughout the summer as a way to do small updates on 40k stuff (and probably promote The Astro Mag a bit more :D) but the real reason is for Games Day Chicago. Now instead of you guys having to wait until GD is over and Alex, Pat and I get back to the hotel to post a real update (which we will anyways becasue there will be better pics and HOPEFULLY some ninja shots of us subtly getting our girlfriends into 40k even more. Yep. They're going too- and because they wanted to. Huzzah!). So the updates are to the right of the page (called "Terran Twitter")

The Road to Games Day Chicago

Well I have finally begun thinking about Games Day Chicago and the costs involved in going there. So far it will be Alex, Pat and I and then our friend Mike who doesn't even like Warhammer but wants to go for the hell of it (now is the time to pounce! :p) Well everyone here at the Terran Forge is jobless (stupid economy/hard to hold a job in Buffalo AND at school) BUT I figure I might as well set a budget to help both Alex and I save up for the trip. Hopefully we'll get summer jobs, but as it is now it looks doubtful (I've applied for about a dozen already with no response- WNY is a terrible place for college kids to find jobs :/)

Anyways, I just did some research looking for a hotel close to the convention center and my AAA membership gets me a single room with 2 queen beds at the Hilton Garden Inn (which is pretty much right down the street from the Stephens Convention Center) for $101/night which is about $57 per person for both nights (arriving friday leaving sunday) which does not seem that bad at all (at least to me: one who has never booked a hotel room ever).

So, if we go with this hotel (and if anyone has alternative and, more importantly, cheaper suggestions PLEASE comment!) then we are looking at about a total cost, per person, for the trip of:
$57 - hotel for 2 nights
$30 - food for roughly 2 days (pretty much just saturday since we'll probably just get cheap fast food crap)
$15 - gas. Figure about $60 to fill up for both ways and then split between four people.
$15 - Ticket for Games Day :p

TOTAL- $117

Not bad, not bad at all. I should probably factor in some "safety cash" so let's just say it will cost $150/person for the trip.

Right now I am strapped on cash (but will still find a way to buy the Cadian Battleforce and new Guard codex. Shame on me.) But right now my "Chicago Fund" I'll put at $30. Only $120 for me to go!

I'll add a side bar-thingy that will be updated with our individual Chicago funds and, please, if you know of any way to help us save money we will be spending let us know! And if you're going to Chicago let us know too, we'd love to meet up with some fellow FtW bloggers!
